PHOENIX -- Locally owned real estate brokerage firm, Roney & Associates Realty, has announced that is it offering a special listing commission rate for people with little or no equity in their homes.  David Roney, President and Designated Broker, said "Many homeowners are really struggling right now and cannot afford the best Realtors at the usual commission rates.  We are hoping to help those who have helped us build our business over the years by offering full service representation at a better value.  It's simply time to give a little back and ease people through this rough housing market." 

The commission break offers a substantial savings to sellers.  A listing broker's commission on a house that sells for $250,000 would typically be up to $7,500.  That seller would save $5,000.   A seller who sold a house for $500,000 would save up to $12,500.
