The lights, garland and mistletoe
And a nice touch is falling snow
Trees stand tall with angels atop
Shoppers scurrying till they nearly drop
Carolers sing songs of longing and praise
We wait on Santa, counting down the days
But up in the sky, and far away
There was a star as bright as day
Wise men followed it, long, long ago
Offering gifts to Him, just hoping to know
A child and Savior who’d become our King
Let us remember Him, when sleigh bells ring.
